Defect Summary

Lucid usa, inc. (lucid) is recalling certain 2024-2025 air vehicles equipped with rear-wheel drive. The gen 4 inverter may experience internal friction and become damaged, causing a loss of drive power.

Safety Consequence

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Lucid will release an over-the-air (ota) software update to continually inspect for an inverter failure. If a failure is detected lucid will replace the inverter, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed july 8, 2026. Owners may contact lucid at 1-888-995-8243. Lucid's number for this recall is sr-26-05-0.
