Defect Summary

Newmar corporation (newmar) is recalling certain 2026 freedom aire motorhomes. The front chin spoiler may detach during transit.

Safety Consequence

A detached spoiler may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install pop-rivets to properly secure the spoiler, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed june 27, 2026. Owners may contact newmar customer service at 1-800-731-8300. Newmar's number for this recall is 630 rsb.
