Defect Summary
Keystone rv company (keystone) is recalling certain 2026 montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The underbelly may be improperly secured, causing it to detach.
Safety Consequence
A detached underbelly can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will install c-channels and i-beams to secure the underbelly, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed april 15, 2026. Owners may contact keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-482. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning may 28, 2026.
