Defect Summary
Keystone rv company (keystone) is recalling certain 2026 montana fifth wheel recreational trailers. The 12-volt and 120-volt wiring may be improperly secured. The wires may be pinched and damaged when the bedroom slide-out moves.
Safety Consequence
Damaged wiring may cause an electrical fault, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will properly secure the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed may 14, 2026. Owners may contact keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 26-480. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning may 15, 2026.
