Defect Summary

Grand design rv, llc (grand design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 lineage motorhomes. The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 207, “seating systems.”

Safety Consequence

A loose seat base increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and tighten the seat base, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed march 4, 2026. Owners may contact grand design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand design's number for this recall is m910057.
