Defect Summary
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2026 freelander motorhomes. The solar panel wire may have been incorrectly connected to a breaker without over-current protection.
Safety Consequence
A wire that is not connected to over-current protection increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and correct the wiring as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed february 25, 2026. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest river's number for this recall is 210-2013.
