Defect Summary

Rockford corporation (rockford) is recalling certain rockford fosgate 20gladr-stg5, 24wrnglr-fox, 24wrngler-stg3, and 18wrngler-stg5 amplifier kits. The 150-amp fuse may not provide adequate circuit protection in the event of a short circuit in the amplifier.

Safety Consequence

Inadequate protection may increase the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Rockford will provide instructions and a replacement fuse, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed july 31, 2026. Owners may contact rockford's customer service at 1-800-669-9899.
