Defect Summary

Marion body works inc. (marion body works) is recalling certain waltco mdv series liftgates installed on morgan aluminum dry vans. The deck pins may break, resulting in the liftgate platform falling.

Safety Consequence

A liftgate that falls unexpectedly increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Marion body works will work with hiab to inspect and replace the deck pins and bushing kits as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed june 17, 2026. Owners may contact marion body works customer service at 1-715-754-5261.
