Defect Summary

Lippert is recalling certain bus windows. Please see the recall report for the full list of affected part numbers. The windows may have illegible dot markings. As such these windows fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 205, "glazing materials."

Safety Consequence

A missing dot code mark may result in the window being replaced with an incorrect type of glass, increasing the risk of a injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect the window and repair the window markings as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact lippert customer service at 1-574-538-4514.
