Defect Summary

Gillig, llc (gillig) is recalling certain 2025 low floor transit buses. The rear axle upper torque rod fasteners may have been improperly tightened. A loose torque rod may contact and damage other axle components.

Safety Consequence

Damaged axle components can decrease stability or vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Gillig will replace the torque rod fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed january 26, 2026. Owners may contact gillig's customer service at 1-800-735-1500.
