Defect Summary
Coach and equipment mfg. Corp. (coach and equipment) is recalling certain 2024-2025 phoenix transit buses equipped with a propane conversion kit with an aftermarket compressor. The alternator may contact and damage the fuel line.
Safety Consequence
A damaged fuel line may leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect the alternator clearance and install additional brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed january 8, 2026. Owners may contact coach and equipment customer service at 1-800-724-8464.
