Defect Summary

Virnig manufacturing inc. (virnig) is recalling certain 2025 tr-hdd-1414 and tr-rhdd-1409 trailers. The bearing lock nuts may have been improperly installed, causing the bearing nuts to fail.

Safety Consequence

A bearing lock nut failure can cause the tire to detach from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect and replace the bearing lock nuts, free of charge. All trailers were repaired by october 28, 2025. Owners may contact virnig customer service at 1-800-648-2408.
