Defect Summary

Nova bus (us) inc. (nova bus) is recalling certain 2021 and 2024-2025 lfs transit buses. The impeller shaft may be loose, causing the cooling pump to fail.

Safety Consequence

A cooling pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Nova bus will inspect and replace the pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed february 3, 2026.owners may contact nova bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova bus' number for this recall is cr5803. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning january 27, 2026.
