Defect Summary
Daimler vans usa, llc (dvusa) is recalling certain 2023-2024 mercedes-benz sprinter 2500 vehicles. The right longitudinal frame member may not be reinforced properly, decreasing the structural integrity of the third-row seats.
Safety Consequence
Third-row seats with inadequate strength may fail to protect occupants, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and repair the frame, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed december 17, 2025. Owners may contact dvusa customer service at 1-877-762-8267. dvusa's number for this recall is vs3raschw. Vehicle identification numbers (vins) involved in this recall will be searchable on nhtsa.gov beginning october 31, 2025.
