Defect Summary

Vinfast auto, llc (vinfast) is recalling certain 2023-2025 vf8 vehicles. The advanced driver assistance system (adas) may activate during wide turns, causing unexpected steering wheel movements that are difficult for the driver to override.

Safety Consequence

A steering wheel that moves unexpectedly may increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Vinfast will update the adas software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed october 27, 2025. Owners may contact vinfast customer service at 1-833-503-0600.
