Defect Summary

Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2026 flagstaff and rockwood recreational trailers. The breakaway switch was wired to the incorrect side of the battery disconnect switch, making the breakaway switch inoperative.

Safety Consequence

An inoperative breakaway switch increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will rewire the breakaway switch, free of charge. All vehicles are located on dealer lots. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-642-8942. Forest river's number for this recall is 10-1966.
