Defect Summary
Rosenbauer america (rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2019-2022 avenger, 2019-2024 commander, and warrior fire trucks equipped with an innovative controls instrument panel. A software error may cause the odometer to freeze and not display accurate mileage.
Safety Consequence
An inaccurate odometer reading can unintentionally delay critical safety-related maintenance, potentially impairing the safe operation of the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the instrument panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed september 10, 2025. Owners may contact rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.
