Defect Summary

International motors, llc (international) is recalling certain 2025 ic bus cecb buses equipped with halogen headlights. when the high beams are activated, the low beams turn off. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

Headlight low beam failure can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will update the body control module (bcm) software, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed april 28, 2025. owners may contact international customer service at 1-800-448-7825. international's number for this recall is 25503.
