Defect Summary
Chrysler (fca us, llc) is recalling certain mopar brake pedal assemblies with part numbers 68607178aa, 68607174aa, and 68607352aa. The brake pedal may collapse and cause a loss of brake function.
Safety Consequence
A loss of brake function increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and reinforce the brake pedal arm, as necessary, free of charge. If the brake pedal assembly is not installed on a vehicle, the assembly will be repurchased. Owner notification letters were mailed january 13, 2026. Owners may contact fca customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Fca's number for this recall is d5c. This recall is an expansion of previous nhtsa recall number 24e095.
