Defect Summary

Nova bus (us) inc. (nova bus) is recalling certain ametek mcp and ecp water pumps. The impeller shaft may be loose, causing the pump to fail.

Safety Consequence

A pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Nova bus will inspect and replace the pump as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed january 30, 2026. Owners may contact nova bus customer service at 1-450-472-6410. Nova bus' number for this recall is er25510.
