Fuel pump may become damaged and leak
Defect Summary
Holley performance products (holley) is recalling certain 140 gph black electric fuel pumps, part number 12-815-1. The fuel pumps may not be compatible with methanol fuel.
Safety Consequence
Use of methanol fuel can damage the pump, causing a fuel leak and increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Holley will provide owners with instructions against using methanol fuel and replace fuel pumps for owners who have or anticipate using ethanol fuel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed august 13, 2025. Owners may contact holley customer service at 1-800-638-0032.
