Defect Summary

Jaguar land rover north america, llc (jaguar) is recalling certain aj20-p6 replacement engines. the oil filter housing may crack and leak.

Safety Consequence

An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire. additionally, oil leaking onto the road can cause a hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the oil filter housing assembly, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed december 6, 2024. owners may contact jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. jaguar's number for this recall is h520.
