Defect Summary

Rev ambulance group orlando, inc. (rev) is recalling certain 2019 road rescue type i ambulances. incorrect material was used for the trip levers used in the rotary latches possibly preventing the doors from being able to be opened.

Safety Consequence

Failure of the rotary latch to function could potentially cause a lock-in or lock-out situation, increasing the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Rev will notify owners, and dealers will replace the rotary latches and cable brackets, free of charge. the recall began october 28, 2020. owners may contact rev customer service at 1-855-661-9232.
